At PEAK our team focuses on the use of hands-on treatment coupled with exercise prescription and state of the art technology to manage a range of injuries and complex conditions. We take pride in delivering exceptional physiotherapy services, ensuring that our treatment protocols are both effective and efficient, leading you to the fastest possible recovery.
At PEAK, we are often asked to provide second and third opinions on more complex chronic cases, our experienced physiotherapists pride themselves and thrive in being able to assist in the treatment of such cases by treating the root cause of the persisting symptoms.
On your first visit at PEAK an experienced physiotherapist will conduct a thorough assessment, provide an accurate diagnosis, and appropriately treat and advise you regarding your concern. Our physiotherapy treatment model is designed to aid in your recovery and maximise your potential for healing, ultimately returning you to sport and optimal daily function as soon as is possible.
Typically people seek physiotherapists to alleviate pain, movement limitation or dysfunction, weakness, changes to sensation (in the form of pins and needles or numbness), and/or impaired function in the activities of daily living.
Our team provide care for a range of conditions such as but not limited to; neck pain, headaches, low back pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, hand/wrist pain, hip/groin pain, knee pain, foot and ankle pain.
Reformer Pilates classes at Peak are run by physiotherapists and are also health-fund rebatable. Our physios will be guiding your experience and ensuring you do not fall into typical compensation movement strategies such as loading through your neck, rounding your shoulders or holding your breath. Each class has been tailored to each of our patients so that they receive a programme best suited to their prior exercise, injury and experience levels.
Our classes at PEAK are limited to three reformers insuring that every class is semi-private and that our physiotherapists can make adequate cueing to all participants that will ultimately allow for a more efficient and beneficial class incoorporating the correct muscle groups.
On your initial pilates appointment at PEAK you will have the option between a 30 or 45 minute 1 on 1 initial assessment, followed by some 1 on 1 reformer work to determine your capacity, before entering the small, more advanced, but still individualised classes. Our physio instructors are then best positioned to make personalised changes to you during classes knowing your capacity best in a boutique class of up to three people.

A scenario we have all been experienced, you wake up one morning and immediately feel a sharp stiffness in your neck as you turn your head for the first time; perhaps even shooting a dull ache into your shoulder blade. A wry neck as this is known is something that we treat very often at PEAK. This can be attributed to a variety of causes, sometimes being the use of an incorrect or old pillow.
This falls into a prevention management strategy that will allow for an increased quality of sleep without the risk of waking up with a stiff neck which impedes your focus and functional capacity.

At Peak we have the latest technology in biomechanical gait (walking) and running analysis. We prescribe custom made orthotics based on a 3-Dimensional scan of your feet which outlines the exact load distribution along your feet in real time.
